Hello Families,
We are looking forward to spending the PD Day with your children! Below is the planned schedule for the day so families can see how the day will be structured. Our goal is to balance active play, creativity, and relaxation while ensuring children from ages 4–12 have an engaging and fun day.
PD Day Schedule
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM | Drop-Off & Free Play
Children will arrive and settle in with quiet activities such as board games, colouring, puzzles, and Lego building while everyone arrives.
9:00 AM – 9:20 AM | Morning Circle
We will gather together to welcome everyone, review the plan for the day, and start with a short icebreaker game.
9:20 AM – 10:15 AM | Active Gym Games
Children will participate in group games and physical activities in the gym such as relay races, tag games, and obstacle courses.
10:15 AM – 10:30 AM | Snack Break
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM | Craft Time
Children will take part in a creative craft activity where they can make and take home their projects.
11:30 AM – 12:15 PM | Outdoor Play
Weather permitting, groups will spend time outside enjoying the playground and outdoor group games.
12:15 PM – 1:00 PM | Lunch Time - Halal Chicken Hot Dog Lunch Included, Chips, Juice, Granola Bar, Cookie and Apple
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Movie Time
Children will relax and enjoy a movie together. They are welcome to bring a blanket or small stuffed toy for comfort during the movie.
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM | Quiet Activities
Following the movie, children will transition to calm activities such as reading, colouring, and puzzles.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Group Games
We will finish the afternoon with fun group games and team activities.
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM | Choice Time
Children can choose between crafts, gym play, board games, or building activities.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM | Pick-Up & Free Play
Reminders
- Please pack snacks, and a water bottle.
- Dress children comfortably for active games and outdoor play.
- Children may bring a blanket or small stuffie for movie time.
