Canterbury Dance Centre!

Our dance program is ideal for children to stay fit and to explore their artistic talents in a non-competitive environment.

We offer children from age 3-18 the opportunity to dance in a fun, positive, and professional environment. Our qualified, experienced instructors strive to promote self-esteem and positive self-image.  Programs are held in a safe, community-based environment and we keep tuition prices affordable for our families.

Dance styles include Tots & Toes, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop.

Fall Session: September 16, 2023 – December 20, 2023 (No classes on October 7 and 9, 2023)
Winter Session: January 8, 2024 – March 27, 2024 (No classes on February 19, 2024 and March 11-16, 2024)
Spring Session: April 2, 2024 – June 2, 2024 (No classes on March 30 and April 1, 2024 and May 18 and May 20, 2024)

Last Day of Classes – Saturday, June 1, 2024

Recital Photo Day:  Sunday, May 26, 2024, starting at 12:00pm.  Full schedule to be announced.

Stage Rehearsal and Annual Recital: Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Shenkman Arts Centre

Recital Tickets:  Will be sold through the Shenkman Arts Centre box office closer to the show date.  On-sale date will be announced.  Keep in mind, children in the audience under the age of two do not need a ticket but they will be required to sit on a parent’s lap for the show.
