Description:
This class is for beginners who have sewn zero to a few items. Lessons will focus on the basics of setting up a sewing machine; sewing straight seams and curves; and, exploring a variety of fabrics, tools, and supplies. We will mostly sew with woven fabrics.
Students will bring their own sewing machine to each class. Please read this document for important information, including the student supply list.
The instructor will bring the fabric and notions needed for the sample projects made during the lessons. There is a $75 fee for class materials, payable directly to the instructor, to cover the costs of providing the fabric, notions, handouts, tools & resources that are brought to class, so students can have a fulfilling experience.
