GROUP FITNESS Schedule

The CCA’s adult group fitness program (16+ years) includes a variety of well-balanced classes that will work on toning, muscle-strength, core-strength, cardio health, balance and flexibility. Our team of instructors love what they do and will help you achieve your fitness goals!

CARDIO FIT: This full-body workout will combine cardio, strength and core work. Dynamic, full-body movements are paired with isolation exercises focusing on one muscle group.

CARDIO MIX: These classes are a blend of hi-low impact aerobics be taught in a multi-level fashion. Exercise options will be given to those who wish to work at a higher (or lower) intensity. Classes will consist approximately 20-25 minutes of aerobic conditioning with a segment of muscle toning, core conditioning, and balance training.

CARDIO STRENGTH MIX: This class will comprise of a 1/2 hour cardio and a 1/2 hour strength and stretch component using a variety of techniques and tools such as hand weights, resistance bands, body bars, stability balls and body weight exercises to tone and condition.

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) involves bursts of high energy activity, followed by a period of rest or low intensity activity. The class will include cardio warm up; the HIIT portion can include exercises such as high knees, burpees, mountain climber and jumping jacks.

STRENGTH MIX: A complete workout to strengthen and tone all muscle groups while improving balance using hand weights and bands. (Participants will need to bring their own equipment.)

TRI FIT: Dynamic, fast-paced class that includes cardio, strength, and flexibility training.

ZUMBA: This is a cardiovascular workout, combining fun dance movements with fantastic Latin music. You will have so much fun you’ll forget you’re working out.

ALL STRETCH: Strength and flexibility go hand in hand. This class is dedicated to improving flexibility, releasing stress and developing better posture and body awareness.

CARDIO MIX: These classes will be taught in a multi-level fashion. Exercise options will be given to those who wish to work at a higher (or lower) intensity. Classes will consist approximately 20-25 minutes of aerobic conditioning with a segment of muscle toning, core conditioning, and balance training.

FRIDAY VARIETY: This beginner level class is suited for beginners or for those wishing for a lighter workout at the end of the week. The class format will change from week to week to provide a variety of workouts. A schedule of classes will available at registration.

MID TEMPO CARDIO STRENGTH MIX: These classes are for the more advanced participant and will vary in format from week to week. The main emphasis will be on a longer and more challenging cardio segment. Intensity options will be given in each class.

TONE & STRETCH: This is a muscle toning and flexibility workout to improve balance, posture, mobility, coordination, strength, and endurance. If you want stronger abdominal and back muscles, this is the class for you.

ZUMBA® GOLD: Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. Class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance!
