Tai Chi is a powerful body-mind exercise.  You will practice Standing Meditation, Silk Reeling Qigong, and a Tai Chi movement sequence.  The emphasis in this class is on correct posture alignment, which leads you to relax and unlock your joints, while strengthening your muscles and achieving optimal energy circulation.  You will the learn how to properly align your body for balance, better posture and efficient power, and how to find quietness inside action.

This is a beginner program and the form we will be teaching is comprised of 9 movements.  The complete form will be taught in the session.  Silk Reeling Qigong is comprised of 19 different exercises, of which 4 will be taught in this program.  Basic theory on Yin-Yang and energy channels will be taught in class.

The instructor will bridge the gap between the traditional Tai Chi teachings that are kept and prized, and the need for objective and straightforward explanations.

Eduardo Molon is a Certified Teacher with the World Chen Xiaowang Taijiquan Association.  He has practiced Tai Chi for 23 years, and has been teaching for over 11 years.  He is a direct student of the Chen family, which created Tai Chi back in the XVII century.  Eduardo lived in China to learn and practice this art, and followed his Master through 7 countries for continued education.  He recently published his first book on Tai Chi.  https://taijiquan-ottawa.com
