The Power Walking Clinic will provide active teaching sessions to introduce the beginner to this more vigorous walking technique. You will work on form and pace that could lead to entering short races if you choose or to compete with yourself for a higher intensity workout around your neighborhood. Power walking promotes strength, stamina and endurance. This clinic allows you the opportunity to learn tips and tricks for summer and winter clothing, hydration, fueling, footwear and pre and post stretching techniques from an experienced Half Marathon Power Walker.
* Limit of 10 participants. Must bring water bottle and indoor runners.
