People with high or low blood pressure should advise their doctor they are starting a yoga program. 16+years

|Sylvie Paquette||Sylvie discovered the benefits of yoga in 2007. She recently completed her Hatha teacher training with the Upward Dog Yoga Centre in Ottawa. She is a registered yoga teacher at the 200-hour level, a certified fitness specialist since 1991 and a group cycling instructor since 2008. Her classes emphasize proper alignment, the use of breath and safety with a sprinkle of meditation. Students are encouraged to build self-awareness, empowerment and inner peace through their yoga practice. In 2014, Sylvie developed her own struggle with hip and back issues and has benefited energetically and physically from the healing aspects of yoga. This experience permitted her to gain greater insight into the challenges others face and how yoga can be adapted to fit anyoneâ€™s capacities. Sylvie plans on continuing her yoga journey with additional teacher training and welcomes all levels to her classes. Namaste.|
